It's amazing how just one day can change your life

So suddenly and quick. Sandi, (my wife) was making her usual drive home from school last night and hit some water in the road and it spun the car around and she lost control, tossing her to the left side of the road into a driveway tile. She travels this road 3 times a week so it's not like she don't know it. Car tires are in great shape it's just amazing how this can happen all so suddenly. We ended up staying at the ER until about 3:00 this morning, the accident happen around 9:30pm. Doctors said that the baby would be fine and that she (Sandi) would be very sore for the next week or two. Most of her injuries come from the seat belt and airbag, a sore back and slight case of whiplash. The highway patrol did come by to check on her at the ER which was thoughtful I thought.(then he gave me her ticket)

Said from the looks of the accident scene and car he was glad she had her seatbelt on and that that alone was the biggest factor in saving her from more injuries. The air bag literately burned her face, mainly lips (Looks like she has botox in them). and chin. I was able to make it to the scene before the ambulance left and the lady that called 911 said she has lived in her house for 7 yrs and has seen 15 wrecks in the same spot, OMG!

I am just so glad she is ok (and the baby) and we can look back on this now and realize how lucky we are. She saw the It's a boy post earlier and said she too was hoping for a boy. Wanted me to thank everyone for the blessings and was very greatfull I had friends like everyone here.

sorry 2 hear she was in a accident but thankfully she will be ok btw congrates on the baby either way boy or girl im sure ull be happy

Hate to hear Sandi was in an accident, but very glad she and the baby are ok....sending many wishes for a speedy recovery.......

Thank God she is ok Dwayne. I have gotten to where I always wear my seatbelt, all the time. Man..I don't know what to say. I am just thankful that she and the baby are ok. We will get by there this weekend to check on her if she is up to company.

Glad Sandi and the baby are alright, that's the main thing. Just shows that seat belts save lives. Smaller cars may be better on gas, but they are worse on wet roads, because they are so damn light. I feel much more safer in a full size truck.

Whew, I am so glad that they are both going to be o.k. I just looked and those pictures and OMG.... I have almost lost control like that before, and it would scare me even though I didn't. Please know that I am thinking about you both and I hope she feels better soon!!

Im glad wife and baby are ok. Cars can be replaced loved ones cant.

Just shows that seat belts save lives. Smaller cars may be better on gas, but they are worse on wet roads, because they are so damn light. I feel much more safer in a full size truck.
