Brent Robinson captures two top 5 finishes in Tar Heel State, announces new sponsors
Smithfield, Virginia (April 3, 2008) On March 28th the Brent Robinson Inc. (BRI) race team made the haul south to Dublin Speedway, for a $2,000 to win show, just the team’s second race of the 2008 season. The night started off with Brent posting an excellent qualifying lap good enough to seize the pole for the 30 lap feature event. The team would be solid in the feature battling inside the top 5 all night and coming home with a strong 3rd place finish. The following night the team watched the weather all morning finally deciding to travel west to 311 Speedway in Madison, NC for twin $2500 to win 25 lap features. The night would start off with Brent posting a decent 11th place qualifying effort placing him inside of row 6 for the first 25 lap feature. Brent would be strong battling all the way up to the 7th position before the checkered flag fell. A number 6 pill was drawn to invert 6 for the second feature missing them by one spot meaning Brent would start inside of row 4 for the second feature event. The car was once again great as Brent would climb up to the 5th position before the end of the event capping a solid weekend for the team with two top 5 finishes. Full Story
   
Brent Robinson set for 2008 debut at Carolina Speedway
Smithfield, Virginia (March 6, 2008) On March 8th the Brent Robinson Inc. (BRI) race team will kick off the 2008 season at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, NC with a $5,000 to win Carolina Clash sanctioned event. The team will shake the Terry Heating and A/C, CAMS Race Engines, Chevrolet Monte Carlo down at the open practice on Friday night in preparation for the show on Saturday. The off season was way too long this year and I’m definitely looking forward to making a return trip to Carolina because we always qualify real well there, now hopefully we can put it together with a strong finish.
