Payoff Increase for the UFo/ULMS Red Miley Rumble at PPMS!
2nd PENNational Feaure Rescheduled for August 28!

(MARS PA) - Another payoff increase has been announced for a 2010 UFo event. The upcoming UFo/ULMS "Red Miley Rumble on August 28 will now pay $4,000 to win for the UFo/ULMS Super Late Models. The 2nd feature of the UFO/ULMS PENNational that was rained out last Saturday, July 24 will also be completed on that night, making a huge bonus Super Late Model event.

With an excellent turnout of fans and drivers for the recent UFo/ULMS "PENNational", Miley Motor Sports has decided to increase the payoff of the upcoming "Red Miley Rumble" from $3,053 to win to $4,053 to win and $300 to start for the 44 lap feature race. With UFo events gaining strong momentum with the fan and driver attendance, this marks the 3rd payoff increase for 2010 by participating speedways. Drivers are able to compete for great payoffs with no excess car entry fees and membership fees, while fans are witnessing the best racing action on dirt and both are being rewarded for their support of the tour with better paying events.

The rained out feature of the "PENNational" will also be made up on August 28 AFTER the completion of the "Red Miley Rumble" UFo/ULMS Super Late Model feature. This event will pay $2,000 to the winner of the 28-lap championship. John Flinner of Zelienople, PA won the 1st feature on July 24 before the rains came after starting 8th on the grid. John then drew an inversion of 12 to set the lineup for the 2nd feature. The feature grid is locked for the August 28 reschedule date, with 5 additional drivers being alternates in the case where qualified drivers cannot start.

The FASTRAK Pro-Late Models will compete for $550 at PPMS on August 28 while the E-mods will race for $450 and the Cadets will race for $350. The Hobby & Young Gun divisions will complete the program. The UFo Super Late Models, E-mods and Cadets will run under open tire rules that night. Pit gates will open at 5:00 PM with warm-ups and 6:00 and racing at 7:00 PM. Grandstands will be $20 for adults, $19 for seniors, $10 for juniors 13-16 and $5 for children 7-12. Pit admission will be $35.

$100 will be paid to cars starting a heat race at each event that do not compete in a feature. The events have no car entry fee for the UFo Super Late Models, and UFo does not have an annual driver membership fee. All events except TylerCounty will feature 24 car starting grids. TylerCounty will utilize a 22 car starting grid due to the track size. All events will include 1 UFo and 1 track provisional. TylerCounty, Dog Hollow, Roaring Knob and PPMS used RACEceiver 1-way communication. PPMS uses transponder scoring. Rentals are available at the tracks.

The UFo Race Championship is an event marketing alliance among supertracks in the Pennova region (Western PA-Northern WV-Northeastern OH). Participating speedways presents their own championship Super Late Model events under the UFo banner throughout the season using common tech and procedure rules with a year-end, group funded, point bonus for the top finishing drivers on the tour. Eligible tracks are within the 3 hour travel distance of the central point of Washington, PA.
