Press Conferences Scheduled for 11/10 @ North Wilkesboro Speedway

Speedway Associates, Inc. will be holding a press conference to unveil their plans and intentions for the North Wilkesboro Speedway next Tuesday at 1:30, at the Speedway. Elected officials from all local governments will be attending the conference, and the public is invited. SAI officials have expressed that they would like the opportunity to assure Wilkes County citizens that they are legitimate. While not all details of their plan for the Speedway can be made public at this press conference, we believe that what can be released will be exciting news for Wilkes County. Wilkes EDC will attempt to answer what questions it can regarding this project; however, please be advised that all parties involved, including Wilkes EDC are under signed confidentiality agreements with SAI due to the sensitive nature of their project. As such, any information that is provided is as allowed by SAI, and there may be some information which Wilkes EDC may not be at liberty to discuss. We hope to see as many of you as possible at next week's press conference.
