Worst Announcer!!

Is it me or is it that Wesley that announcing, or attempts to announce, the race at WCS, the worst there is??? He is so darn nerve racking. I am so glad to hear them cars crank up and drown him out. But then again, the announcer at CLR isnt that great either. Sure would be nice to hear some good announcers at these tracks again. HINT JH!!!

Well there is something to think about now. Wesley usually does FMS on Saturday so will Jh be willing to come to WCS or will the regular announcer do it? Not sure what his name is.

A good knowledgeable announcer and a good PA system are important in weekly racing, many fans come to see a local hero and if he is in a different car on particular night we would like to know it. A good announcer can also make it easier for drivers to secure the much needed sponsor if the announcer will ocassionaly "hype" the driver of car# so and so sponsored by the fine folks down at Joe's dinner on HWY 1. A good announcer will hype track sponsors and and sponsors of special events. A good "announcer" is hard to find too many "announceers" just like to talk to hear their own head roar!

Thanks for the kind words guys. But iam not gonna comment of what other annoucners do or dont do. I am not a broadcast professional, all I am is a race fan with a huge passion for dirt. Like I posted on another forum, I want to think the clarys for the chance to try and do this. I have had a blast. I never thought that I would want to continue doing this anywere but clarys. But now with the closing I really would like to continue at any dirt track. But with all that being said Iam not really interested in trying to take someones spot or lead to their being replaced. But if there are any track owners out there who are in need of an annoucner or were thinking of making any changes, I would be more than willing to talk with them.

With WCS going to Saturday nights, Wesley will most likely be back at Fayetteville. I am pretty sure Eddie would like to have a golden voice on the PA system, like yours, jh!
