Replacement Valve Retainers

I was told today that GM has came out with a Replacement Valve Retainer - for the GM Crate Motor Program.

I was also told that the quality of the ones presently on the GM Crate Motors are of a poor quality and should be replaced as soon as possible.

Several drivers has had a engine let go this year due to Valve Spring Retainer failure.

Don't let this happen to you. Go to your local approved GM Performance Engine Rebuilder and ask for the replacement Valve Spring Retainers.

They are cheap insurance against engine failure!

yes i was adding to your story if i may we got check last night by a tech man he told u to change them every 3 oil changes

Chris Steele made the comment that they were not even getting 6 races out of a motor due to the amount of RPM's that you have to pull to be compeditive.

It seem's that if one person does it - then they all have to do it. Nobody wants to loose. Then when it blows up - it isn't such a bargain no more to race a Crate Model.
