When is Dublin going to fix the big holes in turn 1-2? Those holes have been there since they opened and they need to be fixed. Some of the cars look like they are going to turn over when they hit them. The track is nice except for the holes. They fixed the track coming out of turn 2 but they left the grand canyon in turn 1-2. Are they going to wait until someone turns over and gets hurt before they fix it? All the drivers complain about it, something needs to be done. The racing would even be faster if it was fixed.

I know Mike's been working on this problem, maybe he will get it solved. It would definitely improve the 'raciness' of DMS. Actually, I thought that (trun 1) was the part of the track that was going to be re-configured this past winter, but the 2nd turn-backstretch transition was the focus.

I am in the pits every friday night and thats the main complaint. Hear it every week. If it did not bother them then why do they talk about it every week?
The track being wet has nothing to do with it. They can fix it. It can be done. All it would take is a little labor, and a little time.

Mike needs to come up to clary's one week and get some pointers from JC...If ruts are to bad after the hot laps, heats, and qualifing, JC will take about 15 mins....which = intermission and fix them.........All this and we are still gone by 11:30 pm on most nights

I agree look how much water clary's puts on their track it dosen't rut up very often like Dublin. One of the problems is when you can see mud puddles in the middle of track and think it is o.k. to run hot laps.. and by the time latemodels run the track is so hard it would break a brick.. and you can't run on sand like nascar did in the early days at daytona baech.

DublinFire,
Admit it, the track needs to be fixed. You have made a point on here that you have more laps than anyone on here because you PACK the track every friday. You might just very well pack the track but why dont you work on the track and get the holes out of it. The track needs working, not just wetting and driving around on. Mike can put a monkey in a car and let him drive around the track and pack it, but a man can take a little time and fix a hole!

dublin is no 4/10 track you can fit it inside fayettevilles trackand its a 4/10.......plus they work theres better.its dry but alot racier you can race two wide there not single file(BORING RACING)

the reason dublin looks smaller than fayetteville is that dublin is not a true oval like fayetteville u might need to take a nother look at dublin because it will not fit in side fayetteville.as for the two wide racin every time ive been to fayetteville it has been single file racin the only reason a car gains a possition is ifa nother car breaks something driving through the ditches on the track.

:Kill1: The fact is that Fayetteville has not had any passing on a regular basics since they took up the Asphalt, it was a great paved track but it sucks as a dirt track!

Hi, There was no hles in turn 1&2 last year when my husband rolled the track. Taking the wieght out of the roller was a mistake. Mike needs to get a tractor that will pull the roller with the wieght in it and make sure the tires are fixed. Last year half the tires were flat but my husband still pulled it. The track can be fixed if Mike would listen to the right people and not the know it all's.

we do not want a dry slick hard black top race thats why we dont use the packer we try out best to keep the track tacky so it dose not burn off the tires just be cuz i am only packing in track alil dont mean i dont know wut i am taking bout when its wet its gona come a part alil when u roll it with the packer it press all the water out the top and it makes it dry and slick if u dont like the track surface go run some where eles
p.s
this is not SLINGER JUST USEING HIS NAME TO REPLY TO STUPID CRAPOLA
dont chage the motor we gona get it next week!
cuz i know it all

Im not a dirt driver but my dad was. We ran last night at Clarys with Mike Jones driving and they both said calcium would help hold the track together. Again, I have no clue because I run asphalt. A suggestion to both possibly but no offense to take.
