I had originally posted this a few weeks ago, but I think it was removed for some reason....who knows.
I am trying to help a buddy of mine locate some wheels. Now, he is only running a stock 4 at wake county, but locating wheels for this car has been a nightmare.
He's building a VW Schirocco ( i hope I spelled it right)..The bolt pattern of the hub is a 4 on 4, and all I've been able to find is a 4 on 4.25 and 4 on 4.50.
Does anyone know where he might be able to find a wheel with a 4 on 4 bolt pattern? I can't find anything....Bart, Aero, Bassett, nothing.
OK, if there's no hope in finding them, tell me this. Can a 4 on 4.50 rim be drilled BETWEEN the bolt holes to adapt it to a 4 on 4 pattern safely?....or can anyone think of anybody that might be able to fab-up a wheel?
Hope this finds you all doing well...
Take care y'all...

Jeg's or Summit is not the place to get wheels for racing on a dirt track.

You might try TC Racecars in Frostburgh Md.

I know that they make bead lock wheels there in house.

You could also try Poskey Performance in Parkersburgh WV

Speedway Motors

Midwest Motorsports

Why not get the hubs re drilled and put in 5/8 studs and get the machine shop to put in a common size.

Hobby Stock wheels should work. If the offset is wrong - get a machine shop with a large lathe to cut out the center section and reweld it where it needs to be.

You could also get the machine shop to cut out the center section of the wheels you currently have and get them to put a different rim on them.
