Rules? No matter what they tale you the rules are they will be more than likely totally different after the race is over...LOL
For instance at the last super lm drivers meeting:
1.Drivers were asking about what tires could be run and got 3 or 4 different answers with in 5 minutes.
2.1 driver (Terry Cardwell) called and asked about spoiler size he was told he could run a 12" spoiler. He shows up and is told he has to run a 8" spoiler.
3.At the drivers meeting Bobby Johns says there is no rules on weight then 2 minutes later he changes that...LOL
I would ask around about how the track is run if you have never been there before
Oaklevel is having a SLM race June 30th i would recommend going there.

Boy you hit the nai on the head there.I sure have to agree with this one..ask Booby Johns the same question 5 times get 5 different answers.
Although if you want to drive on a track with no traffic at all come on down to 311.The car count is so low now that racing in traffic is a thing of the past

The Super Late Model race is running under the Carolina Clash rules. That is what most drivers that I have talked to already have. I forgot exactly what that the purse will be, but will find out this weekend while there working.

Bet i can make a good suggestion to Bobby Let the people you hired run the track sit in the tower and stay out of it over riding what the others say when you hired them to do the job is why people are leaving your track so take a vacation and hire some help to do race operations and see if things dont improve you all can erase this post if you choosed but i have been going to 311 for 12 years and i have never seen it so bad So bobby try what i said be a owner and dont try to be a offical to and let them do their job so you wont be stepping on toes ( Heres a quote to remember drivers make your track not Bobby Johns ) And there isnt alot of drivers no more so let them make the track what it needs to be...... I just dont wanna see a good saturday night track go to waste so think about it .....

Goes to show how simple mined you are and the smallest things make you happy if a website is what makes you happy great im happy for you ..... But i'd prefer quality racing at what 311 use to be ..... so have a great day cause i dont have time to talk with you today and by the way keep checking for updated site mr police of the update ......

Bobby doesn't have anything to do with anything that is done right at 311. Derrick is the one that updates the site or at least I think he said he did but Bobby Johns is way too stupid to do anything except run his smart mouth. I'll be glad when he loses the track. The only thing keeping that track going is those P.O.S. tires everybody has to buy every week. That's alright though the car count is dwindling every week and so is the time that Bobby Johns controls the track. See ya Bobby Johns

I was hoping he would stay around 311 but I guess after what happened on the 10th I doubt he will be back any time soon. Too bad, I was hoping for a few LM races with a race for first instead of 2nd.

Derrick is the person that does everything with the website. Morgan should be coming back to 311 soon, there is a car owner that has asked to pay the fine that he got so that he would be back. As far as for the purpose this thread was started, the July 3rd Super late model races will be carolina clash rules, with $2500.00 being the purse for each of them. There will also be special Limited and Super street races that night with higher than normal purses.

Alvint just a a question out of curiousity wouldnt it make sense to run a late model race as well on july 3rd since most of the super late model drivers also have late models???Just a thought...

from what I understand, they are doing double points for LM's on the Sat. before. and Double points for the other above named classes on the 3rd.
which still doesn't make sense.......beings that ALOT of people that race LM and other classes have to work and won't make it to the race. Cancel the points all together for that day

Exactly, My dad is running for points and he works 3rd shift, what is he suppose to do?? Work all night and come home, load the car and go race. Thats rediculous .. there should be NO points on the Monday race.

I agree, thats the dumbest thing I ever heard. Also understand super streets will be running I think for double points.

I'll be in FLA so I wont be there for 2 weeks anyway, but seems strange to run points on a special race night.

it`s kinda like entrapment............if you are tryin` to run for points...........then YOU WILL BE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!
he`s figuring he will have more cars there that way....kinda smart tho lookin` at it that way
but i will agree........should`nt have points that night.......

I will check to see if that Bobby will also run the late models. Personally, I would not run a points race that night either because of some people's work schedules, and also because a lot of people vacation around the 4th. The pay out is 2500 for first in each race, not sure of the payout in any other position.
