Ok folks, it's official, JC and I are going to leave here about lunchtime Friday heading to Georgetown for Friday racing and then to DIS for Saturday. Hey Matt, where can I find you at the track and what time should we get there?

The only thing I have is that I have not seen my daughter in about a month. I am going to hang out with her this weekend. I will make it up there though. We are trying to figure out a date in July right now. See ya soon.

Marcia, are you coming across the Bay Bridge Tunnel? You sure don't want to attempt coming across the other Bay Bridge in Annapolis on a Friday afternoon.

Yes Matt, we are coming across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.......(my Daddy was a foreman(cranes) on the crew that built the original bridge and tunnel, so everytime I get the chance, I take it) There's no way I would consider going through all that traffic on Friday going through MD......lol

My dad and I try to go fishing at Cape Charles every chance we get. We sometimes drift under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and catch croaker faster than we can cast back out. Never fails, if they are biting we fill several 58 quart coolers in no time. Beautiful area up there.

My parents lived in Cape Charles while the bridge and tunnel were under construction....so, after they moved back here and I was born, we spent a lot of time over there during the summers.....I absolutely LOVED it and still do.....Hey L8, have you ever taken time to check out the old Cape Charles Light House?

Marcia, I have seen it but, never took the time to check it out. Other than the zig zag ride to the boat ramp on the other side of the island the only site seeing we do is trolling around the sound. There are also alot of deer and wildlife on that island. The motel we usually stay at looks like an old plantation house from the civil war era. Can't wait to go back.

I'd love to head up that way one weekend. Can't make it this weekend. Good ole Red Dust and April are having an engagement party Saturday. Might just stay close to home and go 25 miles up the road to County Line Raceway or if the party is over early enough I might head down to FMS.
Maybe if the timing is right I can head up there sometime this season to Georgetown or DIS.

Whenever you decide to come up, I'm sure you will have a great time. It looks like we are finally going to have a Friday with no threat of rain.
