I just wanted to mention what a great night some of the so called underdogs or lower budgeted teams in SLM had last night. Great job by Ray Tucker, Johnny Stovall and Ray Davis JR on coming home 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Damon looked good in that 02 also. Kent Wright was flying in the middle toward the end of the race. I have seen it posted on several web sites why with the money Clarys pays out why the car count is low some times. Well I have the answer; blame the above mentioned guys lol. No seriuosly clarys is becoming fastly known as having some of the toughest weekly drivers as any track in the county. When you take a driver like Ray Tucker with over 430 feature wins more track championships than I can count and he is not the favorite to win everynight, man you know its a strong field. You will never see some of the clash and other series drivers attending clarys on a regular basis because there is no tire rule, so they have no advantage. I think everyone should sit back and look at the quiality of cars that clarys has each week and think our lucky stars that we able able to see this type racing so close to home. Chuck harper worked his butt off last night highest he could get was up 5th before he pulled in. Folks if you dont know this is a well known driver all across the county. has many wins this year and brought it home in 3rd at the collossel earier in the season with all the big boys there, about a130 cars there. Look at Booper had a tuff break went to the back and couldnt work his way back up front, had alot of restarts to help his cause, but those so called field fillers were just to tuff to pass em all. So once again cograts to all that had a great run, but guys yall have got to start laying down, so the so called big boys are not scared to come on down to the ring of fire lol

Believe me, that Jarvis team is not low budget. But big budget or low budget, Richard Jarvis Jr. is a real racing talent.

Don't Know About Their Budgets, But The 3 Cars Of Robinson And Littlepage Ran In The Top 5 All Night Long Until They Both Had Mechanical Problems. Congrads To The 47 Team.

Glad to hear that Brent had a good run going. He seems like a nice (but quiet) young man with a lot of talent. He ran well (top 3, top 5) for a lot of the race the night before at Dublin before the handling went away. I think he'll be around, and winning races, for a long time.
Also very glad to hear that Louie Littlepage ran well too. I think Louie is one of the nicest and hardest working guys around. He's been running a long time (in several different types of cars, dirt and asphalt) and I think he has always been "low budget" in comparison to who he was running against. When I hear the phrase "gets the most out of his equipment", he always comes to mind. I know he bought a new (to him) car right before the Clash race at Clary's. Didn't even have time to re-number it (#3p) but he ran pretty good considering he had so little time to work on it. I hopin' that Louie will have that thing parked in victory lane before too long!
