I want to think everyone who made last night the best night of the season. You may ask how I can say that, with all the rain and the extra time everything took???????? Well I can tell you, all the hard work that Marcia Reed put in getting all those sponsers to donate the giveaways and the bikes man you have know idea how much time and effort that takes. JC and crew did a great job in saving that track last night. Now back to the kids, Did you see the faces of those kid's waiting to see their numbers called and then see how they lite up when they had a winning ticket? How anyone could have anything negtive to say about that, well I dont know what to say to help heal your heart. Man kids are what this world should be about,, not just one night but every day and night. I dont care if we would have stayed untill the sun came up this morning, if thats what it took to give away all the stuff and finsh the races then I would have still been happy. My 12yr old didnt recieve any tickets last night he comes in and helps me in the both every sat night(and he loves it) didnt feel it would be right if he won anything. Now ask him if he had a good time watching all the kids win things some where his friends some he didnt even know. You are dag gom right he did, he thought it was great seeing kids have such a great time. Now something is wrong when a 12yr old is more mature than some adults and he can see the big picture and understand things can take some extra time. I also want to think all the drivers who came and rode the kids around the track. I said last night some may be your favorite or not your favorite, but it shows alot to me about whats in a racers heart and soul, that they spent time and gas to join in the fun to make it a night to remmber for those kids. I also think it was a great idea to give out the differant tickets for the ride along. It made things much smoother and saved alot of time. I know this a long post, but this is how important this subject is to me, so if you are still reading lol, I will summ it up for ya. Last night was great, very well run and if you have a problem with that you have more problems in your life than just one longer than ussual night spent at a race track.

Thanks to anyone who does something for the kids!!!! Those guys need to realize that in a few years those kids will be the ones who keep the gates open after there DP's can't go because of incontience, if ya know what I mean. So please lets do all we can to get the what I like to call the next generation involved in dirt track racing before its a lost sport!! I hope theres more out there that see things my way??

Thank you jhofficial for the post and also thank the track for a job well done for the kids. My child was one of the ones that won a bike this year and did not win anything last year and she loves it. Not only is racing for adults but look at the kids that love it too. I think the rides went along well too even though i got stuck on the track when it was raining. I guess the ones complaining either do not have kids or don't care about their kids having a good time. Mine come to the track almost everytime we go and they will continue to do so. Once again thanks to the track for providing that night for the kids. I did see a child over in the pits in a wheel chair and he was really enjoying everything too. That should make you thankful for what the track did do for the kids and not complain when you see how happy children can be with simple little things that people do for them. If you did not like it just remember that next year if the track does it again and keep your A_ _ at home!!!!!!

I am truly sorry for the people that were complaing about the kids........that is something I just cannot understand..........how can you find fault with doing something for children........it makes absolutely no sense to me......I really wish they could have seen the faces of those children in line waiting to ride race cars, or to see if they had a winning ticket, that made it all more than worth the little extra effort involved............And i will go ahead and give everyone a heads up, we will have kids night again next year around the time the schools start getting out for summer, so if it is such a bother for you, you have plenty of fair warning.......

I couldnt believe this when I read this post. The kids enthusiasm for the race car drivers is unbelievable. You can tell how excited they are just to hear them talk about their favorite driver. Their eyes glimmer!!! Its nothing like I have ever seen before. Just remember we were all kids once. Do you still remember what your favorite race car driver or race car track did for you when you were young? I know I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
