Well folks, she got us again. Mother nature has two wins at G-Town this year. Hopefully the sun will shine on us next Friday. It was nice seeing quite a few New Jersey and Pennsylvania cars and fans at the speedway along with our locals. Next week the speedway will host the same lineup. Big Blocks and Super Late Models will headline with both classes running for $2500 to win and $200 to take the green. The crate late models and crate modifieds will also be on the card. Both crate classes will run for $500 to win and $100 to take the green. Thank you all for your support during the last couple weeks with the weather. Hope to see you next week. Check www.georgetownspeedway.com (http://www.georgetownspeedway.com/) for updates during the week.

sure glad i was there for the opener. I thought the northwest was the only place the races got rained out for weeks on end. Sure hope it dries up at g-town. I want to see something other than rainout on the board. Good luck to all. .from Buddy

I'm so glad that G-Town is open again... Bank on this track being the fastest Half Miler on the east coast. I can't wait to see a show.

Oh no...another decision to make. Anyone interested in splitting the driving to the track?

Hey, how many cars were there before mother nature nailed things over the head?

It looked like a lot of them were still rolling in when we went to check about 30 minutes before the rain struck hard.

Not sure how many cars were there, but they were still coming in when the rain came. The weather is looking real good for this friday.

Turn1979 correct me if I wrong, but i think the features for mods are 25 laps, and super lates are 20 laps. Don't know about the creats.
What I am basing this on is DIS.

Its 25 laps for both the Big Blocks and Super Late Models. The crate classes run 20 laps.
