Clary's History?

What's the history of Clay's Speedway? I've never been, but is it the former "Brinkleyville Speedway"? When was the track originally built, and has it always been dirt? Thanks.

Built in the late 80's (I think). It was known as Champion Raceway, then Champion Raceway Park, then Brinkleyville Speedway, now Clarys. If I'm wrong I don't mind being corrected.

Redclay, u are correct on the names by my recollections.....It was Brinkleyville when we bought it in 2003........

It was opened in 1987, and it has always been a dirt track
