CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (May 16) - Rain on Tuesday night has postponed the special StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series midweek event at Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway. The race has been rescheduled for Wednesday night, May 24, just before the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series National Tour makes a three-night swing through the Volunteer State.
The May 24 program for the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series event has the gates opening at 5:30 p.m., with hot laps set for 6:30 p.m., and qualifying scheduled for 7 p.m.
The StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series National Tour will open its three-race Tennessee swing on Thursday night, May 25 at Duck River Speedway in Wheel, TN, and then move to Thunderhill Raceway in Lawrenceburg, TN on Friday night, May 26, and then wind up back at Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway on Saturday night, May 27.
Each event pays $3,000-to-win, with a $1,000 Bonus going to a driver that can win two of the three races.
The May 24 event will be the first of five special StormPay.com Crate Late Model midweek shows at Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway. Special Tuesday night events for the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series will also be run on Tuesday night, June 6, Tuesday night, August 1, and Tuesday night, September 5.
The StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series National Tour will return to Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway for its own special midweek show on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 with a $7,500-to-win feature race.
All StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series drivers must have
their membership fees paid by May 23 to keep their points earned to date.
