It Has Come To The Tracks Attention That A Handfull Of Drivers Are Not Wearing The Manditory Protective Firesuits. This Means A Suit That Effectively Covers The Entire Body Of The Driver, Not Just The Top, Not Just The Bottom, But The Body From The Neck Down. Some Drivers Are Wearing The Top Part Of The Uniform With Either Jeans Or Work Pants And Effective Saturday Night,that Will Not Be Allowed. It Is Covered In The Rule Book Under Car And Driver Specifications-rule #27. We All Witnessed What Fire Can Do Two Weeks Ago With David Taylor's Car,thankfully He Was Properly Covered And The End Result Was Good. Fire Is Very Serious Guys,so I Wanted To Give You The Proper Time Before Hand So You Can Get What You Needed Before Saturday,thanks Eddy.

A good rule to have is a safety rule that's for sure.

All drivers must wear full fire resistant driver’s suits. Tops and bottoms if 2 piece. Any driver not having a complete fire resistant suit will not be allowed to compete in any event. Double layer HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Shoes and gloves are not mandatory, but highly recommended.

The use of a head and neck restraint device is also recommended, but not mandatory.

Anyone who does not wear their full fire suit is putting their life and well being at a very bad risk. Not to mention the wealthfare of their entire family at risk. No matter what safety precautions that one takes, they can NEVER be too safe. I will also try to get this covered at 311 this week.
