I am glad that you have all these up coming events for late models But What about the other class, You always forget them. Sportsman . Super Street, Pure stock V8 Mod 4, Super stock 4 , what about them they are there every week and are paying the high admission for them to run they are not getting nothing out of it , that what you all need to thank about, if it is just all latemodels that bring in the money then these boy are the reason the pay for it and evry week, All yall have to say latemodel race this day , I wish you would give the other class as much attention as you do the latr modles
Just a little to thank About!!!

I am working on details for a race for one of the support divisions ( I have not decided on the class yet) on June 10th also, give me time to work out the deatils and I will get the info out there sometime next week. Each support division (Sportsman, Super Street, Pure Stock V8, Mod 4, Super Stock 4, and Junkyard) will have a special race this season. I spoke with Wayne's dad about races for the support divisions a couple of weeks ago and explained to him that I wanted to wait until June to start them off because I wanted to give ALL the drivers time to get their cars ready. We need each and every division to have a good night of racing and I am fully aware of this. Hopefully, I can go over these events in the driver's meeting Saturday.

Support classes deserve some big races. They put on great shows, but its the Super Late Models that bring in 70% of the fans. People won't drive 2 or 3 hours for a special support class event like they will the SLM.

I am considering making the trip from Cincinnati, Ohio for this race.

Oh hell no! You have got to come when I can be there. The Streaker is getting married that night so we will not be there. Pick another date please. LOL

We absolutely love and support Clary's Speedway, BUT
since Lucky13 won't be there to entertain everyone that weekend(and you really should wait until then)...
Come on over to Eldora Speedway that weekend for THE DREAM instead!

Since its Kids night. will the kids be allowed to ride in the cars during intermission?

I sure hope not that is the most painful expirence to sit through and watch. Maybe there is a way once the track was almost ready like to do that before we start. But with the one gate at the flag stand, now real area to line up in all this leads to chaois. Also if the watch the same kids ride aroound and around if maybe there was away to control it, but I dont see how.

let the kids ride during the roll in. That will get the fans there early.

Thats kinda what I was saying. But iam not so sure how safe that would be, the track would have to almost be raceable, couldnt have cars fishtailing and getting stuck with alot of kids hanging off em some parnets would go crazy lol

This is supposed to be the night for 4 cylinder super stocks to have a big race payout. You only get $600 to win with the next 3 spots getting $50 extra and the rest of the spots get the same payout. Where's the big payout for super stock 4?? We put time and money into our cars just like the other classes plus we have the biggest turnout of the support classes. Plus you have raised the fees to enter an extra $5. This doesn't sound right. I am very upset with Clary's for making this race sound like it was going to be a big payout for our class when it really makes us feel cheap and unimportant with the payout you have listed.

Sincerely,

We went over what money I could afford to put into this at this point and I told everyone in the class at the drivers meeting what I was planning.........I also remember saying if I got some track sponsors between then and the time of the race, I would add more to it and I will if I get any.......I took the money and spread it through the fiels some, because that is what everyone said they wanted in the driver's meeting that day.......If you would like to discuss this in more detail, please fell free to call me at 434-917-9889 anytime during the day or send me an e-mail with a # and I will be more than happy to give you a call.

I thought racing was suposed to be fun and not about the money but looks like all some care about is the money and are very ungrateful for what they do get.

OK, what's wrong with this post?

#1....the payout is not the same as a regular show until you get to 17th spot

#2....you are already getting paid more at Clary's for a regular show than any other track around you

#3....it looks like things were discussed in a drivers meeting, if you had a problem, why didn't you address it with Marcia then

#4....I really don't understand why some people feel the need to complain when the track is trying to do something for the class, if this was such an issue for you, why didn't you call Marcia yourself, her number is in the original post and on the website

As I see it, the Stock 4s shouldn't say **** because they don't pay an entry fee for their cars! So quit your *****ing and just be glad that Clary's is running your class!:drunkx:

Alot of us are glad to have a place to race and Yes the pay is more than any other track around. Atleast Marcia is trying to have some big races for us. and probally for the other support classes also. In the 6 Years that I have been racing there has only been 1 time that a track has done something for the superstock 4's ( 500.00 to win and regular purse for second 150.00 ) and it wasen't even close to what she is doing for us now.
Goodjob Marcia, JC, And Monk keep doing what you are doing and the cars will keep comming

Back to the kids being able to ride on the cars. I think that they should be able to ride because alot of them loce racing just as much as the adults and they have there favorite drivers to so why would anyone want to keep them from riding with their favorite driver.

I have one question about kids riding in the cars.

WHAT HAPPENEDS AND WHO PAYS IF ONE OF THOSE KIDS GET HURT.

Then who's insurance policy goes sky high next year.

ENTRY FEES
2006 Entry Fees
Super Stock 4 Cylinder
No Entry Fee

If you want more $$$ pit it up front on a entry fee like the super lates do or we don't run, then everybody gets a shot at your money also.

I WOULD ALSO GUARANTEE IF YOUR CLASS HAD A ENTRY FEE THE PURSE WOULD GROW ACCORDINGLY...

Tracks have been letting kids ride in/on race cars since I was little, I'm 33 now. I think this is the first time anyone ever asked about insurance. Clarys usually has 20-30 minute intermission anyway, take that time "if need be" to let the lids ride in the cars.

If it is done correctly and the drivers drive like they are suppose to and the kids listen the person at the gate that lets them on the track then noone should get hurt. Why not let the kids enjoy a night of fun too.If you have kids that love racing like mine does then you would want them to get the chance to ride with their favorite driver or drivers. Racing is fun for everyone!!!

Not saying its never happened or it wont ever happen, but I've never heard of children get hurt on a kids night while riding in cars. most sit down and hold tight, and drivers usually drive like they are supposed too.

Marcia, you just need to cancel this race. If Lucky's not there, you can't race. Hell I thinking about coming down myself. But it just wouldn't be the same without Lucky.:banghead: :cool_shades:
BTW, since you are off June 17, how about coming up here that weekend. You can come see us at Georgetown and then go to Delaware International on Sat. night.

I think an entry fee for all classes should be required. that way they could have a guarrenteed purse and not if this many cars show up this is how much you will win. i hate that. but of course you would have the people to complain about it. if they had an entry fee for every class maybe the admission prices would drop also. but i wouldn't know i don't run a track.
