What a Wythe racetrack

I just wanted to say it was my first time up there to watch a race and i wanted to say it was a great one.I couldn't believe how many cars you had in every class and the great racin.The fan count was unreal.But,Seven dollars to get in is what i couldn't believe you can't even think about that down here on the eastern side of nc ans yes i'll be abck to see some great racin again this yr.I hope both guys are ok that rolled saturday night.See ya soon

Come on back on June 3rd and watch the Clash come to Virginia, last year at the June race the track record was set at 16.636, that's 109 mph average on the half mile and as you could tell, it is pretty much a 1/2 mile

I have lived in wytheville for my hole life and last couple of years i have started to go watch some clash races at other places and it is just great stuff that all the drivers say about wythe win u talk to them about it. Also it has some of the best racing on the east coast. I no he would not do it but i would love to see a big race at wythe.

Great job all you guys do at wythe! I am a little disappointed though. What happened to the prayer before the national anthem? I noticed that fri night before the sprint cars and sat night before the regular classes it seemed to have been overlooked. Praying for a safe night and giving thanks for what we do have isn't too much to ask for is it?

The normal announcer is retiring and has been replaced with a fella that is doing a very good job but I bet since the previous announcer was the one that read the racers prayer each time, the new announcer probably accidentally let the prayer slip and if reminded would surely continue the prayer. I will speak to him about it or if I am there I will volunteer to say the prayer

I just hope you guys put on a great show for everyone, I know that Wythe Raceway is second to none in my opinion! I worked the Clash race there in 02' and you folks are some of the nicest peolpe we worked with the enitire year. Sure hope ol' Fred is doing good, he really made us feel at home during our first visit there. I wish I could be there Saturday night but I'm working at FMS this year, Good luck staff, show these folks from Clarys, they ain't seen nothing yet!

Any one that can make the trip to Wythe this Saturday should DEFINITELY go, it is a fun track to go to, the people are great and the racing is always exciting.........I haven't been since Ed Basey dove a car for JC there in a Clash race a few years ago, but it was well worth the drive........Then you can come on back to Clary's on the 10th and see another GREAT show like we had this past weekend and the weeks before

hey marcia if it was guaranteed to have the winning 50/50 ticket everytime i went to clary's i would pay wade61 way to work there every week. i am glad that he gave me the ticket when he left but i have done spent that , hey that was spent once my wife got up on sunday morning. but i hope that the nash /rocky mount special olympics have a good weekend this weekend when they go to raliegh for the state games

We might make the trip to Wythe, but after what I saw last week at Clarys its going to have to be one he11 of a show to beat the Clarys Clash event.
