The stock appearing class should start up this week (May 12th). There should be a good field of karts there FRIDAY!!!!! This is NOT a WKA CLASS but the rules are a follows:
Stock appearing Engine Rules
1) Engine must appear stock, all shrouds and covers must be attached. Exceptions: Billet valve spring cover is allowed, and oil vent lines can be used to relieve pressure.
2) Carburetor: Must be a 5 HP Briggs n Stratton Carb, No Billet Carbs Allowed.
3) Valves: Small or Big Valves allowed (not a tech item)
4) Crankshaft: Must be a 5 hp Briggs n Stratton crank with no stroking allowed. (No aftermarket crankshafts allowed)
5) Piston: Any aftermarket piston allowed that doesn’t exceed 0.60 over Standard
6) Flywheel: any stock Flywheel or any Aftermarket flywheel allowed (not a tech item)
7) Connecting rod: Any stock or aftermarket rod that doesn’t exceed 4.500
The only items that are tech items are rules #1, #2, #4, #5, and #7.
