The 96 and 21 only made contact twice and both were racing incidents. It was everyones opinion that the 22 did not see the caution come out and made contact with the 97. The 97 retaliated knowing that the caution was out. This was a purposeful act. If the 97 had not retaliated, he would have still been the leader. The car count is steadily improving. It is your opinion of the decisions being made. We respect current drivers as well as new drivers. I do not repect people that come on to a message board and leave negative post without a name , however. If some one leaves over something that stupid, then it is there loss. The car counts and attendance are improving each week. The action is getting better each week.

Who ever thought that the pure stock v8 race was fair and even last night is crazy. Michael and Gary kept taking each other out and the flagman let this continue the whole race without throwing the black flag at either of them. But when Phillip gets hit by the 22 car under the caution for no reason and then hits him back he gets black flagged. But the 22 car gets to continue to race and Michael and Gary who continue to take each other out. You need to get a flagman who knows who to flag a race instead of someone who has favoritism towards other drivers at the track. If you don't stay and get drunk and eat with them after the races are over, you are a nobody. Seems to me that the Upchurch's can't run that track no better than Danny Powell could. And they wonder were all the cars are. Everyone had the same opinion over that race last night. Maybe if the Upchurchs respected their drivers that are their every weekend instead of kissing new drivers *ss then the old drivers wouldn't leave. If things don't change at that track there will not be a track left and no spectators to watch a bunch of BS go on every weekend.

This post was deleted by me because they failed to read the rules of this forum. It really is sad when someone signs up and there 1st post is only to slam a track

James if you would like their email and IP address for leagal purposes send me an email..

READ THE RULES (http://www.localracechat.com/forums/view.php?pg=rules)

I firmly agree on the retaliation call. purestock is a great class and is growing each week. Rubbing is racing loose is fast

I am sorry for being so ugly, I was speaking out of anger. I have a video of the race that someone taped and what I see may be different then what y'all saw, but that's my opinion. No need to argue now, what's done is done. I just think that sometimes things that happen at the track are not fair. But what can you do but speak your opinion. I am not trying to down the track, I wouldn't go to another track. But someone once told me if you don't stand up for what you believe in then you will fall for anything.

We have all been there at one point. I know sometimes our anger can get the best of us, just remember. You are always welcome to give your opinions and sugestions about a particular race. However this can be done without bashing the owners or drivers that make it possible..

I just wanted everyone to know I do in fact like the way that James is running the track. I shouldn't have retaliated after the caution had come out, but to me it seemed like the 22 car was trying to slame me into the turn 4 wall. I enjoy racing with everyone in Pure Stock it seems to be very competitive, I just didn't like what had happened under the caution. I am surprised I even made it to the front with my carb busting up like it was, but I will be back this weekend with a new one.

I was looking right at it and my first thought when you guys entered turn three was that you were slowing for the caution and the #22 had not seen the caution so he was barrelling in there trying to catch you. I still think that was the case, especially after talking to Scott (#22 driver) after the race. He was kinda upset with himself for not seeing the caution and causing the accident. But one can certainly understand your anger at the time ... slowing for caution while leading and then getting run over - pretty tough to just say "oh well" at that moment. Things happen so fast and sometimes you don't see something or you make a split second decision that may not have been the right one when you look back on it. Glad you will be back this week, and with a carb that's working correctly!
