RIDING FOR POINTS OR LAST PLACE MONEY

HOW MANY FANS AND DRIVERS THINK THAT A CAR SHOULD HAVE TO RUN A MININUM SPEED IF THEY ARE JUST RUNNING FOR POINTS. SATURDAY NIGHT I WATCHED SEVERAL CARS THAT WERE JUST IN THE WAY..A FAN NEAR ME MADE A GREAT STATEMENT, THEY SAID THAT THE THESE CARS WERE THE SAME AS DEBRIS ON THE TRACK AND WAS VERY DANGEROUS FOR THE CARS THAT WERE RUNNING UP TO SPEED..BOTTOM LINE---IN MY OPINION IF YOU ARE STARTING THE RACE WITH AN INJURED CAR FOR LAST PLACE POINTS AND MONEY YOU NEED TO RUN A LAP AND THEN GET YOUR BUTT OFF THE TRACK BEFORE YOU KILL SOMEONE.. JUST MY OPINION...I RACED FOR YEARS AND I KNEW WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PARK IT FOR THE NIGHT AND THEY SHOULD TO. FIX IT AND COME BACK STRONG NEXT WEEK AND SAVE YOURSELVES SOME RESPECT FROM THE OTHER DRIVERS AND FANS ALSO. :ak47:

i believe in the same thing really i mean go around one or two laps if you ain't pickin up speed then get off the track you gettinglapped and might cause a wreck

I believe there is a rule pertaining to getting black flagged if you get lapped a certain amount of times. Not positive so you may wanna check. Other than that, everybody's gotta learn somewhere.

I'M NOT SO MUCH AGAINST LEARNING TO RACE AND TRYING TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY DOING IT. WHAT I'M AGAINST IS DRIVERS WHO CLAIM TO KNOW HOW TO DRIVE BUT ARE HAVING CAR PROBLEMS AND CAN ONLY RUN A 1/3 OF THE SPEED THAT THE REST OF THE CARS ARE RUNNING....AND INSIST ON STAYING IN THE WAY DOING IT... :thanx:

Well, in that case, they kind of are in the wrong. I do agree that I see some cars like this. I'm sure if these drivers have problems and can't fix it theirselves or don't know how, that if they just ask, plenty of others would help them. I also think if they don't want to make any improvements then they should move down a class. As far as what W1CK3D0N3L0ST says, I don't believe that you are a driver, and not being mean, but it is a lot harder than it looks. There is a lot to learn. They shouldn't necessarily quit but maybe put in more effort and/or drop down.

You can Look at This in Several ways :TheMan: , an expericed driver who goes out with a 'Damaged Car' either to just get last place points or monies, should have enough Common Sense" :smashfrea , to either Make 'One Lap' then pull in or " Come in as the 1st. car puts him/her a Lap down ' Nothing further to gain after that'. Then on the other hand a driver who goes out with a damaged car just to get some seat time in, and last place monies, Needs to know when to stay out of the racing groove and Not become a 'Hazard" to the other racers and tear up some-ones else's car ( Common Sense Again), there's also next week.
The last thing I can Think of is a Driver who is Chasing Points lets say: in the Top 5 in points, goes out with a damaged or ill handling car, to get as many laps in, Still needs to be "Considerate" to the other racers and follow the move over flag and not , get too involved and trying to compete with a Damaged or ill handing car. no i am not a race car driver but i once was and i know how hard it is to race i raced for a lil while i liked it and everything but it wasn't for me so i got out of it and no i don't think whut you said was wrong i seen you pick up a lot this year and you are doin good and hope you keep up the good work good luck 47sisashley have a nice day hope you don't hate me
