Hats Off To Steve Blackburn

This post is directed to those who dont like steve and to the fans who sat behind me tonight after his win booooing...
In the past 11 yrs i have been going to different race tracks I have never seen no one do the things i seen tonight ....
Ok To make this short show me one man who has broke a tie rod half way through the race and does not pit runs the remaining laps with a broke tie rod with that tire only touching the ground 2 times per lap and breaks the spindle dragging the tire during caution laps and still wins the race with over a 5 car lead from 2nd place....
Like Steve said thats for the people who say they cheat

Can say that if we called ahead and was told we could run that and it was ok to run....who wouldn't do the same thing....maybe we should all start calling on Monday's to see which heads we can run..LOL

well this is DOCCALLAHAN and i think stevie drove the three wheels off his car BUT I THINK THAT WHOEVER TOLD HIM IT WAS OK TO UN THOSE HEADS IS TYING TO ACT LIKE 311 USED TO BE WHEN CERTIAN PEOPLE COULD RUN WHATEVR THEY WANTED TO AND EVERYBODY ELSE HAS TO RUN BY THE RULES DAVID LEE SAID THE TECH MAN HAD FULL CONTROL OVER THE RULE AND HE SHOULD STAND BY HIM ON THAT .

SSRECOVERY, I pull for Steve Blackburn, have since he started in LM, but he aint the only one Ive seen do that. Ray Tucker dont it at 311 a couple years ago and David "Scoot" Dick done it in a Clash race. Both had the left front tire turned around backwards. And I agree Steve's probabaly the best in that car, but, you got to have equipment. If Im not mistaken Phil Gann won the championship in that car and Flinchum durn near did.

they called the tech man , the tech man was in the dark about it being blackburn all that was said was they was new to the area and wanted to run thier car...but camlobe u also have to remember steve has always had quality equipment even back in the days of him in a modified 4 he and morgan dominated madison.....and as far as steves girl if u was told u could run a super motor u would just for the win just like anyone else would....

Blackburn won the race . But when are any of the race tracks 311, Oak level. Any of them going to step up and inforce the rules. If you can't run the 230cc heads then . Don't run them , If you do and you get caught them you should be DQed. No questions ask. The drivers should understand.

If you drive down the road doing 95mph in a 55 and you get stoped you get a ticket it's a chance you take and if you get caught then you pay the price.

OAK LEVEL inforce the rules, and quit posting new ones every week.

Stop before you mess up a good thing.

Already messed it up, 6 late-models. I've talked to 3 that say that is the reason they will not be back. Humm, don't his car owner sponsor the track?
It says in the rules that if it don't say it's ok, then don't do it. It don't say if you got something illegal, just call and begg us to let you race, since you know us. And I pay to see racing, why don't the flagman get control on the starts, if it's a drivers fault the race don't start properly, (he jumped, or whatever) put his tail in the rear after the first time. No driver needs 5 trys to start a race right.

Hey unregistered why dont you get a name so everyone can call you something. Anyway I am an official at OLR and you don't know everything that happened on the blackburn thing so quit acting like you do. There were some miscommunication that will not happen again and OLR has admitted to being misinformed on the whole situation. After everything was said and done Merlin could not DQ steve because he was tricked so cut him some slack. As far as I know that is the only incident that has went wrong so give us a little credit, we are trying to do the right thing. If you think running a race show is so easy I'm sure you could find someone to let you have their spot. If a couple of drivers can't understand things like this then happy racing wherever you go. You can't please everyone and I guess you are one of them. Everything sure is running alot better than in the past so quit complaining because it's not gonna be perfect' don't care who you are but at least we are trying our best. You were complaining about the starts' we are working on that too. Last night was the first points race so the 2 start try was enforced. Blackburn and Welch were taken off the front row and put back because they failed in two attempts so maybe that will make you happy. You people crack me up when you get on here like this so have a nice day, I will. If you need to know anything just ask before sticking your feet in your mouth.

I hated to see Gary tear his car up..he would have been up there with Blackburn giving him a run for his money!
