Anyone other than me upset with how the situation with the race at fms was handled today?

Jh, I appreciate Eddy keeping us posted throughout the day on the situation. I just wish they had of called it alot earlier. That radar looked to nasty not to.

Well iam just glad they did honor there word and give us back our money. That race was cancelled becuse they knew they were gonna lose there a-- off. But they should have known that all day. If they would have cancelled early in the day noone would have blamed them, now you got alot of unhappy peaople. Oh well i got home early, listening to the nara race and will get some sleep before I head to cherokee tomorrow.

Me and my girlfriend were there until they canceled it...I was wearing a Jeff Gordon hat... Dupont Racing.....The thing I was mad about was the fact that they didn't reschedule the race for Tommorow after noon at 2 or 2:30 since it looks like it will be a sunny day...and great day for racing...but they couldn't make us fans happy...

I would guess that the reason they didnt run tomorrow is there is a 10000 to win lucas oil race in gaffney sc close to alot of the clash drivers homes, works for me though cause I was gong to cherokee anyway so it adds about 10 plus cars that would have been at fms, so the bus leaves RR at 10am lol

We made the trip down today. Just kinda hate the fact that they said if they called it after everyone made it to the track, they would run Sunday.

Iam sure there were alot of clash drivers bending there ear to get out of there today to head to cherokee, didnt think about the little people like us lol

In the past years all the known series have raced at fms now the clash is the only traveling series

So maybe bringing the Carolina Clash is a step forward to the future to bring in more fans and bigger series to Fayetteville...like the Lucas Oil Late Models Series..

The race has been tentatively rescheduled for Friday, May 5, making a two-night, two-race show as the Clash was already scheduled to return to FMS on Saturday, May 6.

Looks like now I'm going Friday Night May 5th since the Cup race is Saturday night...
