Jimmy Batten intentionally ran into a stopped kart out of anger, that is his fault. That was a very dangerous and stupid thing to do. It will not be tolerated.

well the way i took the situation, was that, the other guy spun jimmy out and jimmy just retaliated, which was the right thing to do, i mean if he don't they are just going to continue to run over him like they do his daddy, come on now, play fair.

Retaliation is not the way to handle the problem, if the track saw it as though the other kart took him out they would have put him in the rear. Jimmy took that chance away trying to knock him out. That was not the right way to handle it. I know he was mad but he could have waited until after they were off of the track to discuss problems. I think it was shown that the kind of behavior he showed will not be tolerated.

Retaliation can be a dangerous thing to do, and running into a stopped kart could really get someone hurt. I like Jimmy, but that was the wrong thing to do. My second year of racing in the champ karts I had an incident with someone. It was not intentional on my part but the other guy thought it was so as we were stopped getting ready to go back into the pits after the race, he drilled me from behind. The end result was a severe aggrevation of an existing herniated disk and TEN years in a very uncomfortable, metal back brace. Just think about that before retaliating in a manner where someone could get hurt.

yeah. retaliation doesnt work. you normally tear your own stuff up worse. trust me, i know and i wont do it again.

does that mean that jimmy is suppose to be run over week after week,i think if u were going to DQ one of them u should both of them.i mean week after week, u get tired of getting run over and have to do something about it. i went to school with jimmy and he has never been the type to let somebody run over him.

What happened during the green flag was racing, there was contact made and the other kart was going to the rear for making contact and spinning the #21. It does not mean it was intentional. The problem between these two is personal, it has no place on the track. We have had on track problems with these two for two years now. When you run into a stopped kart it can be very dangerous, it is not the same as a stock car, you have no protection. Since you are a Battenfan, your judgement is clouded by that. We have to make decisions based on a particular circumstance and past history. Nothing else. If they can not race with respect to others, they will not last at CLR.
