I worked at Wythe Raceway last year...WOW WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE TO BE! I learned a lot from Fred Brown, Owner & Promoter of Wythe Raceway...he knows how to run a race track! The staff at Wythe Raceway is one of the friendliest and most welcoming! I do my work here at Oak Level Raceway and the New 311 Speedway based on what I've learned at Wythe and am working hard to model these tracks after Wythe.
Some info on Wythe Raceway:
Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat VA I81 - Exit 60 - a mountain top 1/2 mile high banked Super Speedway has been in successful operation for 37 years. You will see the most beautiful sunsets at Wythe...as the sun sets over the mountains, it will take your breath. There are NO bad seats in the house...the layout of the track is perfect!
Wythe Raceway is so banked it explains their slogan...Dirt's Answer to Bristol! The races are awlays affordable! You will always have a good time at Wythe Raceway! The racing is hard core and anytime you attend a Wythe Raceway race, you will leave all excited about the race you just seen.
So, to all the Wythe Raceway Staff - GOOD JOB! Try to make it to Wythe Raceway everybody! It's an experience you will not want to miss!

I've been to Wythe for every Clash race they've had, plus a few other times, and only once was I dissatified with what we saw. (One time outta 12, the track came apart and got dusty.) I'd take those odds any day when it came to going to a dirt race. Food is great, the view is awesome, (Best I've seen along with the Gap, and Lowes.) and the bathrooms are brand new and spotless. If you've never been, you don't know what you're missing.

I consider wythe raceway the premiere track!!! Ive been from Eldora to Volusia county and nowhere you go do you see a better show!!! Week end and week out the very best dirt track racing on the east coast. Its a place you can take the whole family and enjoy the show. I believe for $7.00 you can't go wrong!!! See ya at the track!!

Ive been going to Wythe since the mid 80's seen alot of improvements over the years. Its going to be good to see Super lates run more then just for Clash races. I enjoyed Friendship to DIrt Diva, just not the same with pavement on it.

My long term boyfriend and I have gone to Wythe for the past 4 years. I thought I would hate it...but I am hooked! He and I are no longer together. I guess I will be there in the stands alone. Any volunteers out there that might want to keep me company?
See ya at the track!!

From looking at the pictures of this track it looks like a great place to go watch a race b/c EVERY seat in the house has a view of the whole track and no blind spots since the grandstands is so high... but those pictures are from 2004 ...have they added more grandstands?...
ASCS Sprint Nationals is coming to the Wythe Raceway , I'm thinking about going to this race!!!!
