There may have been some miscues to the beginning of the 311 season, namely the preseason practice, but as with any track, or business that changes ownership, there will always be bumps in the road, and also things done in a way that will upset people. Look at the big improvements made at 311 in just the week between practice and the first race. I am almost certain that there will be other changes as times goes on as new things pop up. Of the drivers and crews that I talked to this pastweekend at the track, everyone of them liked the track, and how that there was not much dust. The biggest thing that I saw with the track is that it tightened up a lot. The track stayed together great. Everyone on the staff at 311 did a great job this past week. All the crews there also did a great job. Just wished that there had been more fans in the stands, but I guess the weather kept them home.
Wished that I could join the OLR fans this season, as I live only minutes away, but have to work friday nights til midnight.

The weather is what kept me at home.... but planning on being there this Saturday!
I just wish OLR wasn't so far for us....we went and watched a few years ago and it took over an hour and a half to get there. Too far for us to drive after working all day....

I wish we was girl! But no, we haven't finished our new dirt car. We are planning on racing the first night that our class has to go to the smaller tires.

How much is it gunna be to git in the stands this weekend?? If Lil Steve races then I'll be in the pits ((my dads not racin)) but if for some odd reason Lil Steve dosnt race this weekend I'll be in the stands. I juss think that $30 is rediculous !!
And it would be good to see you, Kim !!
