The National Dirt Racing Association (NDRA) is proud to announce the birth of NDRA North and the expansion of the southern based series into the northern region of the East Coast. Promoters, drivers and fans from Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and West Virginia have voiced their interest in the NDRA program and the series is excited about the emergence of this relationship and this region.
NDRA North will be managed by long time racer and promoter Bob Williams. Williams, a native of Ohio, is no stranger to the racing community. Bob’s experience and leadership will serve the region well as the NDRA continues to expand its program. “I am excited about the future and the opportunities for this region, the racers, the tracks, and the fans”, Williams stated. “We will be an organization that remains both racer and promoter friendly.” NDRA North will offer a program that will appeal to both the local racer and the local track simultaneously. In addition, Williams also plans to schedule approximately 8 touring races as well. In accordance with the NDRA, NDRA North will continue to be partnered with Goodyear for its tire program.
Series officials are in the process of reviewing the current program and rules. While the core of the program will remain intact, the NDRA is exploring a variety of ways to enhance their program.
