Didn't know how to answer Dylan. I have seen camaros dominate against monte carlos, & monte carlos dominate against camaros, just depends on where the track is and who the driver is

true that. I got a camaro and a monte carlo. got them for sale now but dont really want to get rid of them. I am just seeing which will be the best to run. Some ppl say they like monte carlos more and some ppl say they like camaros more.

Last winning Monte Carlo I rember from DMS,HDS,FMS (the tracks you will most likly race at) was my dad's. That is only 1. The rest winning is a tube or camaro. Does that answer your question Dylan? lol

If you can't run a panhard bar the rearend will try to walk out from under a Monte Carlo. Camaros are leaf spring cars so that doesn't happen. They are also better on rough tracks because the rearend is mounted directly on the springs. You can also adjust the thrust angle of the car easier with a leafs spring setup.

Guess you have not been payin much attention to us as I thought. My dad was in a Monte carlo when DMS 1st opened back up. He won 7 races that yr with it and would have probaly won more before geting bared from the track. He also started off racing in a oldsmobile before geting in a transam/fire bird.

i say camaro,..less work to get it right,..gotta re work the a-arms on the front of a metric to get it to work,..an the angel of the trailing arm on the rear, need to be real good with a torch an a wielder.....also real easy to add a tube back end to a camaro clip with what ever kind of rear end set up you wont.....just 1 redneck opinion...

...why did he get bared
Had a problem with a racer. That racers car owner or crew chief sponsared the track. Had problems with them all the time which lead to a mis understanding which got him bared.
