Wow, what a great turn out of cars yesterday! Thanks to all who showed up through the cold and the rain showers. If that was any indication of what's to come in 2006,then this year should be a banner year at FMS! Next week, all divisions will be in action:Pure stock, Super Street, 4-Cylinder Modified, the innogrual race of the Limited Late Models,Super late Models-$2,000 to win and the Open Wheels. We have decided through driver's voting, to keep the rule in place concerning the caution flag after the leader has taken the White flag. The rule worked well last season,so instituting it this year seemed obivious.I'm really looking forward to 2006 along with my side-kick George,we intend on making FMS the place you want to race every week!Good luck guys hope this year is successful for your team, can't wait till next Saturday night when the fastest dirt oval in southeastern N.C. cranks up for it's 36th season.Have a great week! Thanks,Eddy Pollard.

OK Eddie i have to say ure one heck of a flagman and love watching u flag u re mind me of watching my grandfather at Greenville pickings but i just have to say good luck to fms tho i am a Dublin die hard i just wish this fms dms brawl would stop but i have to say dms is faster dew to the equality of the lay out withe there not being to big a difference in the length of the turns verses the straights fms has long straits tight turns the only thing i seen last year at fms as a fan that would hamper my return would be the dust with the new track surface there should be no reason a fan wouldn't like the place but just to ask a question wut is the track record at fms Dublin is a 15.41 and i guarantee u it is 4/10s i have rode in the pack cars at fms and Dublin and i know they are the same

I personally think the "brawl" between the two tracks is actually internet only. Both owners are just trying to make a go and give you the fans a choice of where you would like to see a race, rather than all this nonsense that goes on each week.As far as the tracks are concerned,I"ll leave that argument to each his own.Hope you can come visit us some this year,I was coming to DMS last Saturday, but man it ws just too cold,I played with the kids in front of the fireplace instead,Have a great week, maybe the weather will be good for everybody next week!
