Jason when I started the UCAR Clash we had 3 UCARS racing at WCS. We now have as many as 15 at our weekly race nights. I told everyone at our first meeting in 2007 that one day I would have more than half of my races with 25-30 cars. I was told by one of the track promoters involved in the meeting that I was dreaming and it would never happen. All of the tracks that have embraced the UCAR Clash have had an increase in cars, while those who chose to stay on the outside have lost cars. Our goal with the UCAR Clash was and still is to help all of our local tracks start and or keep adding to their weekly car counts. I am very proud of what we have done so far, and will work very hard to bring grassroots racing back to our local tracks. It is the only savior of local racing out there today.
:Whip:With that said this race will be the first of many for the Walls Roofing UCAR Clash for Cash in 2010. So guys when you read our press release after I get back next week from Kentucky just sit down before you read it because if you don't you will be sitting down. The purse for this race will pay more than any Late Model race out there today. The best part of this race for me will be that teams will build cars to race in this race and come home to there local tracks looking for a place to race them. So Stay tuned for more info on this and other up-coming events for the Walls Roofing UCAR Clash.
