The format for the 2009 Delaware Dirt Track Championships on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday November 8 has been slightly altered to better streamline activities on Saturday.
The two day schedule will be as follows:
Saturday, Nov. 7th Gates Open 9 a.m.
Drivers Meeting 10:30 a.m.
TRACK RUN IN 10:45 A. M.
Timed Hot Laps 11:00 a.m.
Crate Modified, Crate Late Model, Small Block Modified, Mod-Lites, Big Block Modified and Super Late Models
Followed by qualifying heats;
Small Blocks (8 laps),
Mod-Lites (6 laps)
Crate Late Models (8 laps).
Next will be the Small Block Consolations followed by Little Lincoln Hot Laps.
That will be immediately followed by heats;
Super Late Models (8 laps),
Big Block Modifieds (8 laps)
Crate Modified (8 laps).
The following car counts will determine the number of heats and qualifying spots for each:
24 Cars or Less 2 Heats, 10 spots from each.
25-36 Cars 3 Heats, 8 sports from each.
1 Consolation with 6 spots from Small Block, Big Block and Late Model.
2 spots only from Crate Late Models and Crate Modified.
37-47 Cars 4 Heats, 5 spots from each. 2 consolations with 5 spots from each.
49-72 Cars 6 Heats, 3 spots from each, 3 consolations with 4 spots from each.
73-85 Cars 8 Heats, 2 spots from each, 7 consolations with 2 spots from each.
Following all qualifying;
10 lap Little Lincoln Championship Race,
50 lap Small Block Modified Championship (30 car starting field).

Consolations will follow warm ups for Big Block Modified, Super Late Model, Crate Modified , Crate Late Model and Mod Lites.

50 Lap Big Block Modified Feature (30 cars to start)
