311 Practice..........

What a lousy start to the year for Mr Bobby Johns.....

1st off was starting time 1pm eastern? if so you need to set your clock to eastern time.

2nd You don't use a make shift wrecker truck out of a farm tractor.There were lots of fans in the stands complaining about the time it took to get a car off the track with that thing.

3rd WATER the dang track ....my god it was so dusty they had to through the caution to let the dust settle so the drivers could see.

4th Does the PA system not work any,ore or does it cost to much for the electricity to run it?

5th When you have a concession stand open at a track 9 times out of 10 ppl will have to use the bathroom...why were the restrooms locked?

This is just a few things that need to get corrected at 311 before the season really starts or Mr Johns is gonna be in for a rough ride.

To all the fans that cried and complained about how Jerry Friddle and Jay Bird ran the track...now look what you got.....Mr Bobby "Dont Have a Clue" Johns!!!!!!!!!!

I've been to track that didn't have anything open. Bathroom locked, no concessions, no PA on. So why is 311 any different than "some" other tracks on open practice day?

well in defense of bobby, I dont think he was expecting so many cars to turn out. Randy wasnt supposed to work i think, but it may have been nice to have him announce. And yes i was pulled off the track with the tractor lol. Maybe he is going to have a wrecker service, but again didnt wanna have them there because he wasnt expecting so many. But it was fun. He does need to work alittle on the restroom deal. There was no tissue in one of the porta-johns and women had to share the same one as men. Before i make any judgements i will wait and see how it goes after a few races.

I was'nt judging the whole season on how the practice was.I was just saying i hope he does'nt run things like they were run for practice the rest of the season.

I hope Bobby learns from this past weekend and we can have a good season !! Can he not afford to pay for real wreckers??..i mean seriously a tractor is not goin to clear a pile up one nite !! It was rediculous !!

Anyways there were alotta hott cars out there and my boyz ((28 && H28)) were lookin good !! And I was upset not to see Adam Jones this weekend eithor..

as for Adam Jones he was at home in the shop in grease head to toe trying to get the motor in and was on the way when we saw the resque leaving and so we turned around and went home!


motor man took forever to get it togther between friday and saturday i had 1 hr of sleep!!!

But what everyone failed to mention was the tractor actually messed up a car was wondering if i was the only one who noticed that and did you all know that gann will not be there this year from what i heard bobby johns is trying to make him pay rent for a space to sell parts to the people who bring the crowds bobby johns this is just for you watch the bridges you burn cause one day you ship might not come in < But as for mr hand you car looked great nice to have you back > And dirtdawg whats the status on your car..... Sorry all i had to vent it was just alot of orginazation issues at the track that really need to be addressed and why drag a car from the back when a tierod and control arm are screwed why not pick it up from the front alot better to drag a flat rear tire than to drag everything under the front end

alot of us worked hard on getting our cars ready for 311, but it does'nt look like Bobby was ready for us to be there.I'm hoping and praying things will get better this coming weekend!!Welcome back Little Steve, all of us missed ya!!!See ya'll at the track Saturday.

Things will be better this Saturday.

What happened on practice is this...the Rescue Squads that were there had several people with them...at any and every track I have been to myself...2 per squad...AFTER Rescue received the money from the car show, they quit. YOU CAN NOT PRACTICE OR RACE without rescue. There was NOT an issue about Bobby Johns paying them to be there. The track pays Rescue to be there AND 2 per squad is admitted with meal tickets. They were not pleased that the track put a limit on people to enter free with meal tickets and QUIT...again...AFTER they received the money from the car show. The Pine Hall Rescue Crew came to our rescue and they enabled us to hold the practice...THANK YOU PINE HALL RESCUE!!! 311 does apologize for this problem, but the chain of events were set in motion by the rescue present at the car show. Also, Pine Hall had to leave at 5...WITHOUT RESCUE THERE IS NO RACING OR PRACTICE CAN TAKE PLACE.

Please be patient while 311 works out the kinks...we need your input and I do appreciate you and your advice. We will get 311 where it should be...with YOUR help!
