Kickin’ Asphalt Powered by NOS Energy Drink airs live around the globe every Tuesday evening 6:00 – 8:00 PM (EST) on www.RaceTalkRadio.com (http://www.racetalkradio.com/). Each show is archived “On Demand” so race fans can down load each episode to listen at their convenience. Kickin’ Asphalt Powered by NOS Energy Drink is broadcast live on location from the Victory Lane Indoor Karting Center located at 2330 Tipton Drive Suite 100 in Charlotte, NC with hosts Doc Love (UARA-STARS series announcer) and Alan Dietz (PASS South series announcer) with weekly commentary from Tony Stevens (Pit Reporter for Victory Lane Productions live race broadcasts).
Doc & Alan will 1st connect with Steven Wallace from Mooresville, NC on the Racing Electronics Hot Line to chat about his return to LMSC racing at the Hickory Motor Speedway located in Newton, NC to claim the victory in the annual Bobby Isaac Memorial race. Wallace was a regular there in years past before moving up to the UARA-STARS Late Model Tour where he has 3 career victories. Wallace joined NASCAR’s Nationwide Series full time in 2007.
Ben Rowe from Turner, ME will drop in on the Racing Electronics Hot Line to discuss his 3rd PASS South Series victory. Rowe won at the Southern National Raceway Park located in Kenly, NC which was the only event held at the facility so far this year. Rowe is the current points leader for the PASS South and PASS National Championship standings.
We plan to dial up NASCAR Southern Modified Tour driver Burt Myers from Walnut Cove, NC on the Racing Electronics Hot Line to discuss his week end at Martinsville Speedway located in Martinsville, VA. The Made In America Whelen 300 is a combo event between NASCAR’s Northern and Southern Modified Tours. Myers finished 5th overall and was this highest finishing Southern Tour Driver. Myers currently sits 3rd in the championship points standings with 1 victory and 6 top 5 finishes in 12 starts. Myers finished 2nd in the 2009 Bowman Gray Stadium Modified Track Championship and had 7 victories with 12 top 5 finishes.
Doc & Alan will also connect with Robert Parish JR, a regular in the Limited Late Model division at the Motor Mile Speedway located in Radford, VA. Parish will etch his name in the record books as the very 1st winner of a Limited Late Model race at the Martinsville Speedway.
Ben Walker from McLeansville, NC will visit Doc & Alan live on location to discuss his first victory in the Walls Roofing U-Car Clash 4 Cash Series. Walker was the winner at the Dillon Motor Speedway. Walker will be joined by Series Promoter Larry Walls and Show Car / Pace Car driver Kelly Jones.
Doc & Alan want to remind everyone that RaceTalkRadio.com will provide coverage of the 2009 Bailey’s 300 at the Martinsville Speedway October 3rd & 4th. Doc & Alan will broadcast live during Qualifying on Saturday October 3rd at 1 pm. Only the top 22 cars in speed will be locked in the show. Doc & Alan will be live for a pre race show and a post race show on Sunday October 4th.
