we recently bought a Limited Late model. We are having issues setting the timing considering we dont know much about the motor. Not looking to tear down the motor until the off season next month. So is there any way to find out what the timing should be set at for this motor. Not knowing whats in it..... Thanks

is it a Ford,Chevy or Dodge and is it a crate motor or built.. need some info..:check_flag:

sorry it took so long to reply it a built chevy.. Come to find out the rockers wore loss and broke a rod also the lifters jumped out so it was loosing oil pressure... Just got the new lifters in and waiting on the harded rod to get here and should have her back up and going....

If I am not misstaken around 36. but I could be wrong it jas been 2 years and My Stat Sheet and Build Notes *Were stolen* and I am having to guess or even ask now...sorry. :cylon:
