Other information that I have from Wesley Poole

1. Prepping on the EL's is fine, but NO wet tires at the grid

2. Jr. Stock and Jr. Animal are the same class...on animal engines, with two classes available: one on Firestones, one on Maxxis EL's

3. All engines rules are by WKA rules (AKRA rules for clones), so all classes will be animals except for the following:
Maxxis EL Pro Clone...clone
Maxxis EL Raptor Heavy...flathead
Maxxis EL Raptor Medium...flathead
Maxxis EL Sportsman Clone...clone
*If we have some jrs. show up with a flathead, we will allow them to run...obviously the animal will be the faster way to go, but we want to make sure everyone gets to run.

4. No diffence in Pro Clone vs. Sportsman Clone with regards to engines, just different expertise levels...both will be by AKRA stock rules with the AKRA muffler / pipe required, but no clutch rule...you can run shoe clutches or disc clutches on the clones.

5. Yes Pre-Tech and Post Race tech will be strictly enforced...a certifed tech official will be onsite.

6. Races will be on 1/4 mile track outside of Turn 3 at Rockingham. The 1/4 mile track is built inside of the 1/2 mile track.

7. Practice info: Pit pass and practice fee are separate. This event is set up like a 3 day Pavment National, except it has been shortened to a 2-day format to not require kids miss a day of school and you still get plenty of practice on a brand new race track and plenty of racing for big $ instead of points. At the pavement nationals, Friday practice costs $35 per driver, so we have lowered this to $20 per driver for a 5 hr. Saturday practice session. In order to get everyone out a decent time on Sunday afternoon, we decided to go ahead and do qualifying on Saturday afternoon. If you want to skip the practice session and just show up for qualifying on Saturday afternoon and race on Sunday, that is fine as well.
