Hope someone can help!
We have put in a new 602 crate motor this season, My problem is ...I am running a motor temp of 190 degrees on 25 laps on 3/8 oval ashphalt....
we have locked down the timing to 32 degrees ...we are using a 4412 2 barrel carb of :smiley_601:course track rules... jets are 77 we are using 94 octane fuel.......
we start out real strong and about 4 laps in we lose power roughly 30-40 horse....also engine rpm is 6200...... the exhaust pipes are cherry red in 4 laps..… the car is a thunder car,...... what the heck am I not seeing , can somebody help
Thx

Check that paper that come with the engine, timing too high, not enough jet, and too many rpms !! (gear). 5500 rpm max recommended !

I agree with dirtywhiteboy, go up in jet size it is running lean or timing advanced too far. 32 deg should be good.
