Hey John, how about that kid from Delaware, First time to Eldora ever, and qualifies 18th over 172 cars and undoubtedly some of the best dirt drivers in the country and makes the field for one of the riches races of the year.

Not to bad. A better finish and I would have been real impressed.

they went a little soft on tires and missed the setup a little according to Mike.

At Eldora you got to set up the with some push already in it but as the night and the race went along the car starting to get a little lose. Plus Austin doesn't like a car with any push, but that's the way you have got to run Eldora. As the iold saying goes live and learn, maybe the next time. I just hope he can get in some practice races next year and go in there cold turkey.

How can you not be impressed that he even made the field on his first try?! Or that he finished the race still running? What a feat at his age and level of experience! And look at some of the names he finished in front of...

and the list of names that didn't even make the field was enough to make a super feature anywhere.

Not impressed, wow John, tough crowd!

I gotta say, there were a few "who the heck is Austin Hubbard?" questions on different boards last night after his heat. Also saw that he was the second youngest driver even to qualify for the World 100, 1 month older that Josh Richards was on his first time in.

He certainly did better that that other Austin from NC in the number 3.

Haha yeah Austin Hubbard did very well at the World 100!!! And im pretty sure that the #3 of Dillon aint cheating now cause he cant run with the big dawgs used to he could run with the big dawgs before they found out something was wrong with his crank and the whole team tried to blame it on GM thats a buncha bull now you see where he ran at??

I didn't say I wasn't impressed and its not a great accomplishment, just a better finish wold have made it very impressive. Is Robbie Allen still helping them out?
