LAWNDALE, NC - The fourth round of the NDRA Touring Series schedule will take place Friday night September 11 at Cleveland County Speedway.
The $1,500 to win main event is expected to draw a large field of cars at the popular 4/10 mile oval that has long been a driver favorite with its long straight-aways and wide corners.
“We are very happy to be headed to Cleveland County,” said NDRA’s Larry Lee. “Our car counts have been spectacular and we should have more of the same on September 11th”
Georgia racer Hunter Peacock has a slim points lead in the touring division points over Winky McGee. Several drivers including Hickory, NC’s Jimmy Schiltz are within striking distance.
Brandon Umberger picked up the win in round one at Friendship Speedway with Austin Dillon capturing the win at 311 Speedway. Ron Parker collected the $3,000 winner’s purse following his win in round three at Lancaster Speedway.
NDRA would like to thank the following; Goodyear Racing Tires, City Chevrolet, Heintz Brothers Performance, Wells Fargo, Dirtwrap.
