Bobby Johns, new owner of The New 311 Speedway in Madison, NC, would like to announce that he will be offering free camping for Martinsville NASCAR fans!©2006 LocalRaceChat.com
This will be available for the spring and fall NASCAR races. The New 311
Speedway is only 15 minutes south of Martinsville Speedway off of Rt. 220 at
the Madison, NC exit. The New 311 Speedway is a 1/2 mile high banked red
clay dirt track that is known as the "Daytona of Dirt!" It is one of the
most unique tracks in the nation and offers a 50 seat, full service
restaurant overlooking the track that is open Tues. - Sat. 6 am-2 pm.
March 18, 2006 will feature a Car Show from 10 am - 1 pm and open practice
from 1 pm - 5 pm for any type of dirt race car. Grandstand admission is
free! This will be an opportunity like no other this season. Fans will get
a chance to get a look at new drivers and cars, or check out new paint
schemes on the returning competitors. It will also be a great time for the
media to talk to drivers and teams that they will be reporting on all season

March 25, 2006 is the long awaited Opening Night featuring all regular
divisions. The night is being sponsored by Blackburn Insurance a GMAC

April 1, 2006 will feature Super Late Models, $5000 to win and $400 to
