Crate Motor Question

I was wondering why you could only run a chevy (crate) motor at fast tracs?

my guess would be because the fastrack series is built around and sponsored by GM performance Crate 602 and 604 motors. Check out their website and note the sponsors. Hope this helps.

Also and this is just a stab in the dark.
Ford does not have a crate engine with steel heads that is sealed from the factory as GM does.

In dirt late model magazine this month ford racing had there sealed crate engine in there(IT'S COMING)

CHEVY 602 CRATE STEEL BLOCK, STEEL HEADS=FORD RACING 347 JR

CHEVY 604 CRATE STEEL BLOCK,ALUM HEADS=FORD RACING 347 SR

THE HAVE THE HORSE POWER REAL CLOSE NOW SO IT WANT BE LONG AND THE FORDS WILL BE OUT THERE EVERY WEEK...........

seen write up on them 2-3 times,...guess there slow comeing,...what i read thay gonna be a bit priceyer....but are a solid,stout motor,..both of them...
