FAYETTEVILLE, NC - NDRA Officials have banned Anthony Sanders from competing in any NDRA sanctioned event or sanctioned track for 365 days after he failed a post-race inspection following his victory at Lancaster Speedway
Sanders was protested by second place finisher Ron Parker following his apparent victory. His engine was confiscated from the track and held until Monday morning, where It was taken to Steve’s Head Shed in Blacksburg, SC for examination.
During the inspection process several items were found to be illegal including the camshaft and deck height.

The whole crate theory is a fraud. Period:icon_pimp:

My understanding is that Big A stepped in to drive this car for an owner. That said, rules are rules... But, hopefully, after all the fallout from this one, some consideration will be made as far as the rules applying to the owner of the car.

The car belonged to Hamricks and Big A, after destroying his ride earlier in the season, was probably glad to have an opportunity to drive it.

Anything can be cheated. The good news is that the folks standing behind the rules are actually enforcing them as written. In that sense, the crates are actually *working*.

If these crate owners want to race a create series and their engine builders are not a recognized engine builder, I'd been mighty hesitant to put an engine from them in my car. There's just much to risk, and if was a paid driver and you sent me out there with an illegal engine, and they tour that engine down and found it illegal, we'd be having a coming to Jesus meeting. :ak47: :Kill2:

You know when I say how the cheating in the crates will be their death, everyone's comment is well that goes to show you they are doing their job and catching the cheaters. Seems true enough.

But guess what!!!!! When people cant leave the track on a Friday or Saturday knowing who the winner is, they will lose interest very quickly.:icon_pimp:

WRONG, as long as the series stays on top of the cheaters and keeps those types run off, the fan base and the car counts will continue to grow !!

They got a class for latemodel cheaters and less rules.:about_supers:

As evidenced here as of late, folks like good drama. I doubt any interest will be lost.

Amen, Dude. I could not have said it better myself. There will always be crate haters, they all have their own reasons, but they can not deny crate got a lot of people back racing that could no longer afford Limited and Super.
