My One And Only Post concerning My Disqualification
1st of all let me start by saying Congrats To Ron Parker and his Team! No hard feelings between anyone, he done what he had to do. Thats racing. 2nd this will be my only post, I'm not going to fight back and forth with some of these "FANS" on here about this, I got things to do.
I came to lancaster saturday night to win the race, i left my shop thinking the motor was legal and would pass tech, if not i would not have spent the money it cost to run knowing i could not have had a chance to win the race. I have never cheated to race, i dont think it rights and fair to everyone that spends there hard earn money to do what we we yall love to do just to be cheated out of it. Now i was caught and must pay and serve my time. Im not going to lay the blame on anyone door step but mine!
Today everyone & everything was done and handled in a professional maner, I felt the right call was made and have no hard feelings toward NDRA, Steve's Head Shed, Terry Harris, Hendren Racing engines, or Heintz performance, which were all present today. They all felt as bad as i did, most of them felt like I was a put in a bad spot, without knowing all the facts.
The parts were taking and will be desroyed, and thats the end of it. I will serve my time with NDRA, as far as FASTRAK I have not heard back from stan on his take of the situation. Hopefully i can run fastrack the rest of the year and have a chance to show i can win LEGALY, if not see yall August 1, 2010.
On A side Note:
As far as Bill, Steve, & Mike Hendren, these are some of the nicest caring giving people you will ever meet in racing, they built our limited and super motors for years, And let me tell you they can build a POWERPLANT. For those who say they dont know what there talking about, these are some smart guys when it comes to motors. Everyone wants to put blame on this guy or that guy, fact of the matter is you can only blame the man in the mirror!
Once again Congrat to Ron and the 8 car team, sorry for the trouble & inconvenience, it was a long night for everyone
