As I sat down today to update and check the dates for things I was interested in, and update the calender that I send to friends, I found some curious changes to the Ace Speedway schedule I was hoping someone could shed some more light on.

(1) The second date for the USCS sprint cars has been cancelled. While the car count was mediocre, I thought the sprint cars brought out a good crowd - even the year they didnt' finish until about 2:00 AM due to rain.

(2) Xtreme-aganza?? How many laps, what to win, or do I even want to show up?

(3) Is the ProMud racing still being held?

(4) What's this "Southern Monster Truck" and is it a race or just some show?

These are all changes within the last month, so I'm just lost.

Thank you!

Well I do know that I took the day off of work earlier this year just to go and watch the ProMud... and of course it pissed me off because they didnt even have it and I had to take the day of and LOST money due to this. They need to get there stuff together or there will not be anything of ACE speedway next year dont know what their problem is... FOR ONE they are trying to run too much stuff and dont have enough ppl to help with it and probably MONEY either just like other tracks try to do and end up CLOSING up!:feedme:

I think they need to schedule putting dirt back there and they would see a good race at that track again jmo

So, did you see the discussion we had about that on the 311 forum? :) Lotta interesting thoughts there on that issue.

BTW, I found ProMud Racing's sight, and it still lists some events at Ace and a couple more places, but it looks like they are not getting a good number of entrants in their divisions. In their defense, I think they are still getting things going and having a few "growing pains".

Northern North Carolina and Southern Va needs another dirt track like LRC needs Mikes buddy Bob Scumbag Barney in my humble opinion.

I'm looking forward to seeing Darrell Wallace Jr run with the UARA Series again this Friday night before he moves to the Camping World East Series next year. This race should be another good one. Anyone heard if Rodney Cook is running with the UARA guys?

I heard the track will give Rodney a set of tires and a sponsor bought two more. All Rodney needs is a couple more to practice with.

I mud race in this promud series and the promoter at the time for ace speedway contacted us at the end of last year and told us they were coming on board with the 2 other tracks in the area for a points championship. the first bog they had wasn't to bad. had a good field of trucks, had a good spectator crowd also and the pit was't bad BUT the next month (May)after another management change ,we got there nobody was at the track. the folks that clean up after the round track race on fri. got on the phone and finally got the new manager there, he said every thing was supposed to be ready and taken care of and it wasn't. it was a really bad day on both sides and i didn't go back and after that and everybody stopped coming . the other two tracks we race are still running and have a good field of trucks. check it out www.williamsburgmudracing.com (http://www.williamsburgmudracing.com) go to www.youtube.com (http://www.youtube.com) and search underdogmudracing . he video's about all of them and my trucks name is BLUE BY U .LATER :bigglasses:

Hello, again.

Well, it looks like the Xtreme-aganza got called off about 7 to 10 days before it was to be run Friday night (8/14). The schedule of events for that night even went out of its way to say that it was a "Xtreme Regular Race - 20 Laps". What happened?

Also, how was the car count that night in all the divisions?
