Potomac Speedway Staff has been forced to cancel the racing events for Friday July 31, 2009 due to weather moving thru the area. Local weather shows heavy rains, strong winds, and large hail to hit the Southern Maryland area between 3pm and 9pm tonight. Speedway Staff is looking out for the best interest of there drivers, crews, and fans and feels its in the best interest to cancel these evenings events. Racing will resume next Friday August 7,2009 with the MACS Series invading Potomac Speedway, on tap will be the 55 lap Budweiser Super Late Model show paying $5000 to win, along with Street Stocks, Hobbystocks, and Strictly Stocks.
