Nick Davis, the 17 year old younger brother of defending Super Late Model champion, Ray Davis, Jr., drove the race of his three year old career to post his first ever win in the 15-lap Crate Model feature.
A three car tangle brought out the yellow before the first lap was in the books. On the restart, pole sitter Matt Hill spun in front of the field collecting three more cars. When the first lap got in the books it was Nick Davis the leader with Tyler Reed, looking for his second straight win, running hard on the outside.

Davis remained smooth and in control and at the halfway sign was followed by Reed, Ryan Walls, Joe Warren and Darin Henderson in the top five. Cautions on laps 10 and 11 kept Davis from building a lead. On lap 12 Reed slowed with problems and Walls took over the top spot.

Warren got by Walls for second as the white flag flew but it was Davis, in his Davis Trucking/Rocket powering home for his first checkered. Warren finished in second with Walls crossing the line in third. All the cautions had burned off too much fuel and Walls failed to make weight giving third to Chris Hitchens. Fourth went to Mike Wilson and Henderson rounded out the top five.

Fast time in qualifying was set by Walls.
