I love asphalt, just like dirt a little better. Went to Hickory for the UARA tonight. Good race. And Ace is my local track.

I vowed to never go to Racerap a long time ago. Don't like the way they run things. It's their site and they can run it as they wish, but I don't have to go there and won't.

Since sites get their "ranking" (which can lead to ad revenue) from hits, I won't even go their to read. I want the uncensored viewpoint anyway.

If I want asphalt news, Speed51 is a good source (until more asphalt people discover LRC.

Barney would feel real stupid if EVERYONE got wise and took his advice and went away. Then him and tammy would have to use all thier 20 different screen names to make it look busy over there.

It's always ok to post what's good about a track but never what's bad. As long as you paint a pretty picture so no one knows what's really going on then RR is ok with it. We have a set of rules here and like for everyone to go by them, but as long as things don't get extremely out of hand we will allow you to speak your mind and will always slap your wrist before kicking you out and will never call you an idiot. What gets me is he always refers to people without a key as idiots, but it's them that let the post through in the first place. Go figure.:DontKnow:

The largest dirt board I know of is 4m and it's the most un moderated no holds barred site I have ever seen with over 27,000 members. I don't buy that bull**** about we only need the good and not the bad content anymore. If a track don't see where they are doing wrong from the fans and drivers then they will never fix it, it will just be the same ole BS every week until everyone gets tired of it and leaves. The same thing goes for these websites treat your members like idiots and soon they will leave.

Hey we like all kinds here..

here..And boy you sure get em,,,lol.............The site is moderated with some common sense , unlike several others, who treat there sites like spoiled children and just take there ball and go home when they feel like it.............was banned for a couple weeks on another site about a year ago and havent gone back and posted since.........all because i ticked off one of the moderators and her favorite driver.......Thanks lrc for being sensible and professional in your approach and giving us all a nice site to interact with.......

RR is a joke. I would like to know how they treat their customer cause if they treat them like they do on RR then they are doomed for faliure. I really hate that site. If you didnt notice. And im sorry but im not going to buy a key for something I might look at once a month.... Now LRC I look at it about 15 to 20 times a day. Thankfully they havent blocked this site at my work... :)

You know, I didn't reallize this until I started reading this thread, but RaceRap had it's little hand in some of the things that went bad at Southern National, didn't they?

Let me explain my point, and feel free to flame me if I'm incorrect on this - When things started going bad with racers being overcharged and purses not being paid by the last promoter at Southern National in Kenly, NC, didn't RaceRap block some of the comments by drivers and those in the know in the name of not being negative? Later on, they had to relent and let the subject go on, even having to admit they blocked some. By then, things were already over in all the wrong ways, though.

I hate to see people talk junk about a track or a driver just because they have the chance too without any proof (which I admit I could arguably be blamed of that), and LRC does a good job of preventing it. It's RaceRap that takes it to the -nth degree, and that doesn't do anybody any good.

Not sure what did or did not go on over there since I rarely, and I do mean rarely go there. We did have a few people on here that were in the know about the past promoter and his rubber checks though. Usually if we know something to be true we let it go since there is really no need to argue the matter with someone regardless if they use a real name or not. I mean what's the point? Everyone can't be wrong, if you have 25 people complaining about the same thing then obviously something is wrong. So why waste all that time in trying to cover something up that everyone already knows anyway. Now when someone just registers and there first post is doing nothing but trash talking and it seems to always go in that direction it don't take much to figure out that they only have a one track mind. We like to hear the good and the bad, because we all no were not all perfect.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.............. I hear ya RJ, but also as a track you have to know that you will not always make everyone happy. You have to consider the source of the complaint, and how many times you hear it from the same person over and over. If it is one or two, and usually the same ones every week, I dont think it weighs to heavy on any track owner, promoter, or officials mind.:behead:
