The Cline Construction Steel Block Bandits were beaten by mother nature on May 2nd at Natural Bridge Speedway. The sun was shining until our first warm-up session and then the rain clouds opened up and forced the Natural Bridge Speedway Promoter to call the event. After a short discussion the make-up date was set for Sunday May 24th. This will be a double header weekend in the Shenandoah Valley. Natural Bridge Speedway on May 24th for $2500 to win and Eastside Speedway on May 25th for $2000 to win. There will also be a $500 bonus if a driver can win both events on May 24th and 25th, sponsored by Dehaven Well Drilling. We are currently working with hotels in that area to get a discounted rate for the racers and fans for this weekend.
