> NDRA PRO LATE MODELS $1500 TO WIN MAY 2ND...
The newly formed National Dirt Racing Asssociation (NDRA) is set to make history this Saturday night May 2 with the inaugural touring series event at Friendship Motor Speedway.
“We are very excited about getting our first race under our belts,” said NDRA Co-President Larry Lee. “Friendship is a fantastic race track and we are looking for a large car count for the first race.”
The $1,500 to win event will be 40 laps and will pay $150 to start. The format will be similar to Carolina Clash series events. Each car will qualify with the top 10 being locked in for the feature. The rest of the field will be determined through a series of B-mains.
This will be the first of six scheduled events in 2009. The next event will be on June 6 at 311 Fastrack in Madison, NC.
Pit gates open at 4:00 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting will be at 6:15 with practice starting at 6:45.
