2.3 cam timing

I have a stock ranger block a good head and a .468 lift cam, any ideas on how to get the most out of this. Should i just line it up with the marks, retard it or what. need help can't figure this out:Kill1:

You will need a degree wheel and need to know what the centerline of the cam is to get the best performance. As far as the timing goes after that I ran 32 degree's advanced when i ran 4cyl. You should probably get someone that builds these motors to degree the cam n for you just to be safe, hopr this helps.
