The Lucas Oil Go-Kart Spring Shootout, presented by Earl Pearson Jr. is set for April 10-11th at Hurricane Raceway in Alma, GA. Earl Pearson Jr. is pleased to announce additional bonus money has been posted for this event. Capps Racing Engines out of Jacksonville, FL has put up a $100 cash bonus to any racer that can win either "Pro Class" on Friday or Saturday using a Capps Racing Engine.In addition any racer that can win either "Pro Class" using tires prepared by Mike Capps and Capps Cuts will receive a 50% discount on tire cut services by Capps Cuts.
Capps Racing Engines is located in Jacksonville, FL and is owned and operated by Lee and Mike Capps. They have been building winning go-kart racing engines for over 20 years including numerous championships in the state of FL, GA and some National wins as well. Lucas Oil is the title sponsor of the event with recently announced Dixie Chopper and E3 Spark Plugs coming on board as well. The two main events for this coming weekend will be the "Animal Pro Class" on Friday April 10th paying $2,500 to win and paying back the top eight finishers a guaranteed purse. Then on Saturday the "Flathead Pro Class" will pay $2,500 to win and paying back the top eight finishers a guaranteed purse. Dixie Chopper will sponsor the "Pro Class" Bonus to any driver that can win both Pro Classes will get an additional $1,000 cash bonus. One racer could win $6,000 between the two "Pro Classes" alone. E3 Spark Plugs will sponsor the E3 Fast Time award for both Pro Classes paying $50 cash to the driver that sets fast time in each Pro Class.
In addition to the "Pro Classes" there will be twenty (20) other classes running over the two day event all paying money including the Animal Medium, FH Stock Medium and Limited Modifieds all paying $1000 to win and paying back the top five positions.
